George K

Composer • Writer • Explorer of the Inconceivable

Bio

George K is a composer, writer in Hawaii. He composed the Pacific Suite, the first major piano concerto in 100 years that unites all modern musical knowledge since Gershwin’s time: jazz, pop, rock, EDM, DAW recording, symphonic and Asian instruments. The result is the first piano concerto in 100 years that actually sounds like the world we live in.

A pianist with classical training from the Academy of Arts in Zagreb, he won prizes twice at national piano competitions, played concerts with symphonic orchestras on piano and synth, gigged repeatedly with a jazz band, a pop group, a Polynesian ensemble, worked as a studio tech, ghost wrote EDM, even programmed 1000+ synth patches and multisamples. That’s 7 lifetimes of music careers in one guy; no wonder he went cuckoo-bananas. Nah, just checking if you’re still paying attention, I’m fine. I also work on publishing books, and on proving there is intelligent extraterrestrial life because they don't come anywhere near us.
